New American Standard Bible 1995

The King of Glory Entering Zion.

A Psalm of David.

24 The earth is the Lord’s, and [a] all it contains,
The world, and those who dwell in it.
For He has founded it upon the seas
And established it upon the rivers.
Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord?
And who may stand in His holy place?
He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
Who has not lifted up his soul [b] to falsehood
And has not sworn deceitfully.
He shall receive a blessing from the Lord
And [c] righteousness from the God of his salvation.
[d] This is the generation of those who seek Him,
Who seek Your face—even Jacob. [e] Selah.

Lift up your heads, O gates,
And be lifted up, O [f] ancient doors,
That the King of glory may come in!
Who is the King of glory?
The Lord strong and mighty,
The Lord mighty in battle.
Lift up your heads, O gates,
And lift them up, O [g] ancient doors,
That the King of glory may come in!
10 Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
He is the King of glory. Selah.

    The Transfiguration

28 Some eight days after these sayings, He took along Peter and John and James, and went up on the mountain to pray. 29 And while He was praying, the appearance of His face became different, and His clothing became white and [a] gleaming. 30 And behold, two men were talking with Him; and they were Moses and Elijah, 31 who, appearing in [b] glory, were speaking of His departure which He was about to accomplish at Jerusalem. 32 Now Peter and his companions had been overcome with sleep; but when they were fully awake, they saw His glory and the two men standing with Him. 33 And as [c] these were leaving Him, Peter said to Jesus, “Master, it is good for us to be here; let us make three [d] tabernacles: one for You, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah”—not realizing what he was saying. 34 While he was saying this, a cloud [e] formed and began to overshadow them; and they were afraid as they entered the cloud. 35 Then a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My Son, My Chosen One; listen to Him!” 36 And when the voice [f] had spoken, Jesus was found alone. And they kept silent, and reported to no one in those days any of the things which they had seen.

In Luke 9, we see JESUS/Yeshua/Salvation, as the centerpiece, between Moses, representing the law and Elijah, representing the prophets and again, GOD declares, "This Is My Beloved SON, Listen To HIM!" The natural man cannot discern the things of The SPIRIT, so do you have ears to hear? The LORD is taking HIS Disciples up on a mountaintop to PRAY & even with this magnificent transfiguration, like in the garden of Gethsemane, Peter and his companions are overcome with sleep. Awake from your slumber, The Bridegroom is coming SOON! PRAY that more Muslims in Djibouti will turn to Faith In CHRIST. PRAY that our sisters and brothers in Syria will continue to find refuge and shelter under the wings of our LORD/Yahweh. Psalm 61:4

Let me dwell in Your tent forever; Let me take refuge in the shelter of Your wings. Selah. In Psalm 61:4, the Psalmist petitions GOD to 'Let me' two times in one sentence, so "LET US" dwell, rest in and abide In The Vine, so we can have "PASSION for SOULS" and bear good fruit for HIS Kingdom!
